Outside Catering Terms & Conditions

  1. A provisional quotation will be sent out following a client's initial enquiry. If the initial quote is broadly acceptable then a final detailed quotation will be prepared for the client's final approval.

  2. On acceptance of a quotation a non-refundable 25% deposit is payable immediately. This is deducted from the final invoice.

  3. Where Gill Orde in Catering is NOT providing the wine and/or other drinks at a function then a fee is charged to cover the drinks service, glasses hire, glass cleaning and ice. This fee is currently charged at a rate of £1.20 + VAT per head.

  4. All breakages of any sort are the responsibility of the client and will be charged on the final invoice.

  5. All prices are quoted excluding VAT. VAT will be added at the prevailing rate, currently 17.5%.

  6. All invoices will be charged in £ Sterling.

  7. The cost of the function will be billed within 7 days of its completion and full payment will, thereafter, be due immediately on receipt of the invoice.

  8. Payment should be made either by: Personal or Business cheque with a cheque guarantee card; cash or a bankers draft. Where a personal or business cheque for which there is no valid cheque guarantee card is to be used the client will need to apply to this company for a Credit Account application form.

  9. VISA, MasterCard, DELTA cards are accepted. Apply to the company for details.

  10. All other conditions which may be specified in the final quotation shall be as binding on the parties as the conditions set out here.

 

Cottage Cuisine Terms & Conditions

  1. The food will be supplied in accordance with the Cottage Cuisine Order Form.

  2. Where food is ordered by post, the order form should be accompanied by a deposit equal to 25% of the total value. The balance of 75% is due on delivery of the food.

  3. Where food is ordered at short notice (within 24 hours), then the full payment is due on delivery of the food.

  4. Payment should be made either by: Personal or Business cheque, cash or a bankers draft. Personal and business cheques can only be accepted if they are accompanied by a valid bankers cheque guarantee card.

  5. No cancellation of Cottage Cuisine food can be accepted with less than 24 hours notice. Failure to comply with this condition renders the client liable to pay for the full cost of the food.

Payment Methods

The Payment Method may be by one of the following 3 options.  Please indicate on the Order Form which method suits you best.

1. Electronic

You may tick the box on the Order Form to confirm that you wish to have the sales order sent by email. 

On receipt of the Sales Order, you should send a cheque, with the Sales Order Number written on the back of the cheque, to the address at the bottom of this page.

All cheques should be made payable to: Gill Orde In Catering.

2. Postal

A Sales Order will be sent to you by post to your Home address in advance of the delivery date.

On receipt of the Sales Order, you should send a cheque with the Sales Order Number written on the back of the cheque to the address at the bottom of this page.

Please Note: Payment must be received 7 days in advance of delivery date

3. On Delivery

Payment may be made at the time of delivery in cash or by means of a cheque (with a valid cheque guarantee card).

General Terms & Conditions

  1. Gill Orde in Catering reserves the right to vary its prices, menus and any of its terms & conditions at any time without notice.

  2. It is recommended that Wedding Insurance be obtained for any function that is a Wedding Reception. Gill Orde in Catering can supply suitable proposal forms on request.

  3. This site with all its contents; the names Gill Orde in Catering, Cottage Cuisine, GOIC; all menus and recipes are the copyright of Gill Orde in Catering. Any unauthorised use of or other infringement of these rights will result in legal action being taken to protect the rights of Gill Orde in Catering.

  4. Governing Law. The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Scottish law and the Scottish Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.
